Rupert Grint, je nejstarším z trojice hlavních dětských představitelů ve filmu Harry Pottera. Vystupuje ve představeních malého divadelního spolku. Postava Rona byla jeho nejoblíbenější již v době, kdy vůbec nevěděl, že bude ve filmu hrát. Ve škole má Rupert rád kreslení, během natáčení nakreslil například podobiznu herce Alana Rickmana, který hraje profesora Snapea.
